What is the minimum seconds duration that can be kept, I changed it to 1 sec buy I noticed that laptop was hanging again and again, now I have changed it to 5 sec again. Icon to change colour in smart mode 1, previously it was changing colour in smart mode 1 according to temprature 50 55 and 60 but now it is not changing since I have changed settings, rather now it changes colour if I select smart mode 2.Ģ. I am a doctor and was having a lot of problems with my computer getting stuck up in the middle of a presentation and sometimes doing a very important work.ġ. I would be grateful if these queries are answered. can there be some way of starting the tp fan in the smart mode 2 ? forcefully keep the fan off and I have to very very fastly change it to manual or smart mode 2 otherwise computer would stuck. When I restart my computer the tp fan starts in smart mode 1 i.e. although temprature keeps to below 60 with that mode.Ĥ. Manual mode keeps my fan running all the time and I'm worried would it burn my fan. I think time interval should be less than 5 sec in which tp fan checks the temprature because within 3-4 seconds the temprature rises to dangerous level and by the time tp fan turns on the fan computer is already stuck.ģ.
Even in this mode if I use many programs at a time the temprature suddenly shoots and computer gets stuck. If I use smart mode 2, fan keeps running continously although I hear its voice to increase or decrease with increasing tempraure.
Can there be some way of changing settings of this BIOS in built fan so that it starts working normally and should start at least when temprature rises to above 55.Ģ. When I select BIOS mode, temprature starts rising and the fan never turns on automatically, I think this is the basic fault which was causing my lap top to get stuck again and again. ( I live at a place where room temprature normally is about 35 degrees, all tempratures that I mention in this post are in degrees centiigrade)ġ.
I have installed it and now am able to use my lap top as now I can run the fan and the temprature now remains at about 52 and never goes above 60. Then I googled some software to run the fan as I noticed that there was no noise of fan even at this high temprature and this is how I downloaded and installed tp fan v 0.61 I installed a software that monitored tempature and I was astonished that my cpu temprature rose to 65 degrees and then computer stuck.
I was facing a problem that my IBM thinkpad R50 e was getting stuck up after 1 hour of usage.
